I had a unique experience at this hotel, being part of a predominantly French resort in Crete. The accommodations were spacious and clean, and the staff was quite welcoming, especially at the pool bar. However, the dining options were limited, which was disappointing, and the location felt a bit isolated with few nearby activities. It's a nice place for those looking for a quiet getaway, but it may not be ideal if you're expecting a more vibrant atmosphere.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The resort itself was beautiful and attracted us initially, but the language barrier with the French-speaking staff made things a bit awkward. The beach was stunning, but we found the dining options limited and not particularly satisfying. Overall, while the location by the beach was nice, I wouldn't return due to the experience not aligning with our expectations.
The hotel offers a lovely, quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation, paired with beautiful views which enhance your breakfast experience. The spacious rooms provide comfort, but note that air conditioning could be improved, especially in larger family accommodations. While the staff is immensely helpful and friendly, dinner options could benefit from more variety, particularly for families with children.
My stay at Golden Star Hotel in Crete was quite enjoyable overall. The spacious rooms and beautiful pool area were definite highlights, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. However, I found the dining experience to be a bit repetitive, and the lack of evening entertainment made the nights feel a bit dull. Overall, it's a charming spot for a family getaway, but they could improve the variety of food and activities available.
My stay at the Golden Star Hotel was wonderfully relaxing, with a beautiful pool area and spacious garden-view room that provided a lovely atmosphere for unwinding. The dining options were delicious and had a good variety, although sometimes the food quality at dinner could vary. The location is charming, nestled in a quiet village, perfect for a tranquil getaway, but might feel a bit isolated for those wanting nightlife. Overall, it was a delightful experience that I'd gladly repeat.
